About HTAA The members of our Association share many common goals, including About Us Piclegislative representation at the local, state and national levels. As a Member of HTAA, you'll have the opportunity to develop relationships with other colleagues, find potential business partners and clients and make new friends. Our 200+ membership count consists of rental housing owners, builders, developers, property management firms and product / service suppliers. The owner / management company members represent more than17,000 rental housing units in the McLennan, Falls, Limestone, Bosque, Hamilton and Coryell counties.

CODE OF ETHICS

ALL ACTIVE MEMBERS OF THIS ASSOCIATION AGREE TO OBSERVE AND BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING CODE OF ETHICS.

Promote, employ and maintain a high standard of integrity in the performance of all rental obligations and services in the operation of our rental properties and/or apartment communities. Maintain and operate our rental housing properties in accordance with fair and honorable standards of competition, ever minded of the purposes of the HTAA and in compliance with the by-laws thereof. Strive continually to promote the education and fraternity of the membership and to promote the progress and dignity of the rental housing industry in creating a better image of itself in order that the public may be better served. Seek to provide better values so that an even greater share of the public may enjoy the many benefits of multi-housing living. Establish high ethical standards of conduct with housing rental agencies, suppliers, and others doing business with the rental housing industry. Endeavor to expose schemes to mislead or defraud the rental housing residing public and to aid in the exposure of those responsible. Refrain from attempting to obtain resident through advertising or otherwise, by means of deceptive, misleading or fraudulent statements, misrepresentations or the use of implications unwarranted by fact or reasonable probability.
